This Privacy Policy describes how Stringbet Software, LLC ("Stringbet," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Wolfbite: Golf Game Keeper mobile application (the "App"). This policy supplements our general Privacy Policy available at stringbet.com/privacy. In the event of a conflict between this policy and the general Privacy Policy with respect to the App, this policy governs.

1. Information We Collect

Wolfbite: Golf Game Keeper collects the following data:

Third-Party Services

This app uses the following third-party services:

  • Firebase (Google) — Authentication (sign-in) and Cloud Firestore (game data storage and sync) (Privacy Policy)
  • Venmo — Optional payment links between players to facilitate settling bets. We do not receive or store any Venmo account information or transaction data. (Privacy Policy)

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and operate the App
  • Enable game creation, scoring, and payout calculations
  • Sync game data across your devices via cloud storage
  • Allow spectators to view games in real time
  • Display nearby golf courses based on your location
  • Populate player name suggestions for faster game setup
  • Maintain your game history

We do not use your information for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality of the App.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With other players and spectators in a game you create or join, to the extent necessary for gameplay (e.g., scores, player names, and game status)
  • With service providers who assist us in operating the App (see Third-Party Services above)
  • If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of Stringbet Software, LLC, our users, or the public

Your Rights Under the CCPA

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to Know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Delete: You may request that we delete the personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information. No opt-out is necessary.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

Data Retention

We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. Locally stored data (player names and game history) remains on your device until you delete the App or clear the data manually.

You may request deletion of your cloud-stored data by contacting us at info@stringbet.com. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete your data within 45 days, unless retention is required by law.

3. Third-Party Platform Data Practices

The App is distributed through third-party platforms (such as the Apple App Store and Google Play Store). These platforms may collect information related to your download, purchase, or use of the App in accordance with their own privacy policies. Stringbet does not receive personally identifiable information from these platforms.

4. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

5. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable measures designed to protect the information we collect. However, no system of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
